  • Is it enclosed, or can you add an enclosure later?
  • How loud is it while printing?
  • Does it work with any brand of filament, or only its own?
  • Where do spare parts and help come from, and what's the warranty?
  • Does the app or software work on the computer or tablet you have?

Buy with it

  • 2 or 3 spools of PLA in colors your kid picks
  • A small scraper and flush cutters
  • Glue stick or the plate cleaner the maker recommends
